Depression
Depression is an illness, the good news, it’s a treatable illness. Feelings of sadness, helplessness and hopelessness are of course recognized symptoms of depression. But there are so many other signs and symptoms not so easily recognized.
Anxiety
Anxiety is an emotional disorder affecting millions of people. Severity ranges from normal feelings of nervousness to feelings of terror. Symptoms vary with individuals in as much as the severity. Nausea, muscle tension, uncomfortable physical reactions, feelings of panic and/or fear are a few of the symptoms associated with anxiety.
Chemical Dependency
Chemical dependency is defined as a person’s reliance on alcohol or drugs. It is also defined as substance abuse. Use of the substance is compulsive and irresistible and consumes the user’s thoughts. Use of the substance is more important to the user than any other aspect of life; therefore, other areas of the user’s life suffer, resulting in other problems.
Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar Disorder or Manic-Depressive Illness as it is called, is a mood disorder and is very treatable. Episodes vary in severity, whether in the manic or depressive stage, change can be gradual or rapid.
Phobias
Phobia – an uncontrollable and persistent irrational fear of an object or situation. The fear experienced by someone with a phobia vary in frequency and severity. Avoidance of an object or situation is often the result for people who suffer from phobias.
Stress
Stress is a physiological reaction produced by a stimulus. Deadlines, financial matters, family issues, physical limitations,environmental conditions and/or personal issues can all produce stressful debilitating circumstances. Unchecked, persistent stress can take a toll on the mind and body.

There are different forms of Childhood Mental Disorders such as Childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Depression in Children and Teens, Bullying and Chemical Dependency in Children and Teens.
